"In short if these rules go into effect, it will place 49 percent of all trucking co's & drivers into an unfit status. and the points they get will remain with them for three years makes them unable to get a new job with another carrier.
At a time when DC should be working to solve the economy ,they come up with this plan to cripple the trucking industry.
This new set of rules will make the fuel crisis look like a walk in the park.
Early est's claim 175000 drivers will be put out of work in the first go round and with monthly audits how long before the entire industry is down the tubes with no chance for recovery.
