Convenient Chain Hangers at Last

When the weather gets snowy and there is a chance of ice on the road, all drivers need to take extra caution, but semi-truck drivers are required to be more cautious than others. Why? Well, for one, semi-truck drivers are professional drivers, so the bar is set higher for them. A second reason that semi-truck drivers have more responsibility is the fact that they are larger vehicles and cause more damage when they get into accidents.

In icy conditions, it can be easy for tires to loose traction, even if you are carrying a heavy load. For this reason, truckers know that they have to carry chains in order to chain up their tires in hazardous weather.  Without them, truckers can be subject to dangerous accidents. In some states, it is actually illegal for truckers to travel without chains in inclement weather, as law enforcement knows, chains add weight to tires, increasing traction and making it safer to drive.

But chaining up your tires can be bothersome and frustrating, especially if those chains get tangled.  One of the best ways to make sure that you are in compliance with the law but not taking up too much time dealing with chains is by getting a chain hanger. And where better to get a chain hanger than through the giant, Highway Products.  Highway Products is best known for their fantastic truck toolboxes and undercarriage boxes, but their innovative chain hanger is just as sturdy as any toolbox.

Located near the mountains in White City, Oregon, Highway Products has been around since the 1970s, and truckers have known the company’s reputation for being a top-of-the-line builder of truck toolboxes.  Because they only use the best in raw materials, pride themselves on skillful craftsmanship, and top the list in customer service, truckers know that Highway Products is the place to go if you need a toolbox made.

These same principals are used when Highway Products makes its chain hangers.  Sturdy and ready for life on the road, all of Highway Products’ creations are made out of sturdy materials and are road ready.  And because driving among the mountains in Oregon can get rather difficult, and cold, these innovations are ready to stand up to the demands of the road.

The biggest benefit of the chain hanger, however, is the way it makes truckers’ jobs easier.  Because the doors open on the sides and it allows truckers to store two triple sets and two single sets of chains, truckers can access their chains quickly and neatly. The chains are organized, not tangled and/or falling down.  This saves a trucker the time and frustration of dealing with messy chains.  Of course, if you have a chain hanger, you’re more likely to bring chains, meaning you’re not breaking the law.  With a chain hanger, then you end up saving money on the fines you would otherwise pay.  So stay safe, but stay in style.  The chain hanger by Highway Products is the answer to both questions.
