Here's an important question for you. I recieved 4 speeding violations in 2007, yes I know "Big dummy" comes to mind when I think about it too. But driving is my lively hood, theres got to be someone out there who knows how to get this or at least part of these tickets expunged from my record. I can't get a job anywhere! I've been looking for over a month and I can't get anyone to hire me and they all blame it on the insurance companies!!! A drunk, or a drug dealer has many Programs available to maintain a valid drivers licsense, yet a driver with over 30 years experience/no accidents/and an excellent on-time delivery history has nothing, absolutely nothing to help in maintaining a valid CDL. Has anyone out there got any answers???

safty class is allowed every 2 years this removes 2 points, i think if u go 2 years no tickets this removes all your points but the vilotations still show. try getting a job at a staffing service, good luck

I'm a owner-operator and never got a speeding ticket. It's very simple, we're professionals - so we follow the law and I run the limit where I drive. If you speed, you save money in the short term - but get this sort of thing in the long term, as well as damaging our reputation. I have no sympathy for you. Drive the limit and you won't have a problem.

I sure wishn I did have a good suggestion for you, me, and all the other accident and ticket-free on-timers who've made their hard-earned livin this way - only to have one sombody's bogus accusation take all their livelyhood away. No, I was not speeding, I was in fact parked in a spot designated by this recieving customer and sleeping in my bunk when I was bright-lighted and dragged out onto the ground and arrested for - get this - WRECKLESS DRIVING, LEAVING THE SCEENE< and also had a complaint filed against me for OBSTRUCTION (of an officer in his duties). Well, this is quite the one-way dead-end for my driving career, because now, the cheap freight on this 1262 mile trip has not totally covered the fuel, nor tolls, nor pallets, nor lumpers required for this load -and- the carrier has yet to even come up with mileage pay, much less the out of pocket reimbursements. I do have a lawyer I think would be worth the fee, but can't even get hold of my settlement which was a completed trip 32 days ago.A MESS!!!

Contact the American Truckers Legal Association. They have lawyers in all 50 states that fight all tickets with a very high win record. They really know what they are doing.

it will depend on what state you are in but there is defensive driving classes that will remove some if not all of your points

Good luck friend , I , too , am in the SAME situation . But , mine is 4 speeds within 4 years . And I STILL am having an EXTREMELY hard time getting a job . And the WORST part ... all these tickets are ( as the are classified ) 10 mph and under in 55-35 zone . ( all were actually around 7 mph over ) Professional or not ... 4 tickets within four years with an estimated miles driven of just under half a million ... Yet , Freddy the farmer , can drive his JD , run off the road , hit a street sign , and nothing happens . go figure .
