Truck Driver Blogs
I thought it would be fun to post about the different truck driver blogs. It's really cool to see that they are sprouting up pretty fast these days. 2 years ago there were about 2. One of them was Trucker Tom and now his blog is a full podcast and his photo site is great too.
Another great blog I've found is Aaron The Truck Driver. In his words he is "Mostly professional truck driver. Partly amateur film maker." He has a great variety of posts and a ton of them. Aaron is an excellent writer so go over and check out his stuff. He's Vlogged his blog over here and you should see this video.
Life on the road is shaping up nicely. This blog is very new and they've been real busy posting, usually a new post everyday with some real good stuff from Update on Hybrid Trucks to Three in a row for Jimmy Johnson and the points lead!. And they're looking for writers if that's your thing.
There are plenty of truck driver blogs over at Wordpress.com.

Just a tip on a company that treats its drivers like ****, its Greenbush Logistics, a Great Southern Wood Co. you know, "Yellawood" They have no business in the trucking world as long as they have managers like Terry, out of the Fl. plant working for them.

Greenbush Logistics does not treat its Reserve or Guard members to well, getting rid of them if they go on orders, making up an excuse its because of not meeting company requirements, without even giving notice of anything being wrong with their performance, shame on companies like that.

If you like short stories, check out my website:
http://terryhaferkamp.squarespace.com/a-truckers-story/
I heard a noise coming from inside the trailer so I leaned closer to listen. It sounded like breathing; a loud panting sound. I could have sworn I felt the heat from its breath only inches from my face separated by the thin wall of the metal. I could smell the stench of sulfur in the air. Then I heard the screeching sound of metal being scratched; that high pitch sound that gives you the willies like fingernails on a chalkboard. I took a step backward. Something was in my trailer, something big.
